Brown- WE ARE COMING.

We will be up in the air, flying to Rhode Island in less than 24 hours.

By now, most of us have already packed our suitcases and ready to depart for a fulfilling 25 days of excursions, sightseeing, touring, and of course learning!

Our chaperone, Ms. Yolanda Bulls, will be with us at Brown for our entire visit. I'm sure she is equally as excited as the Brownies are.

See you soon Brown!

  1. Stephanie,

You wrote this last night before this morning's departure but I'm writing after your plane has already taken off.

I'm not sure one of your comments is entirely accurate, though. While your comment about packing your bags may be true for your cohorts, remember that it was I who weighed your bags before boarding the shuttle so I KNOW that you couldn't have spent much time packing your own bags. The weight limit was 50 lbs per bag but your main bag only weighed 21 lbs. Just my aloha shirts by themselves would have weighed that much! Are you sure you didn't leave a few things behind? You remember, don't you, that you're going to be gone for nearly three and a half weeks?

You're a bright gal, though, and you certainly don't need packing tips from me. Of course, at this point it's all academic--whatever you packed will have to suffice unless you're going to add a trip to the mall a high priority.

I'm looking forward, Stephanie, to reading your blogs. And, of course, to seeing all of the fine photos you'll be taking.
