Who Knew Education Could Be So Fun?

I can’t believe the time I’m having here.

It’s only three days but I feel like I’ve known these girls for weeks. I’m such good friends with so many people already, and every day I meet new people, and become closer with the ones I’m already friends with. We have so much fun every day.

Our British friend Paul (eating in V Dub).
From shopping to eating together to even doing homework, we laugh and make jokes and talk.

My best friend Erica in class with me.
I never thought I’d have so much fun with people I hardly know. Of course, we all know each other pretty well by now, between all the exercises our class does.

How we get through class.
Tomorrow is the Ropes Course, and we have to go to the forest where there are deer ticks, and we have to wear pants, which severely annoys me because while it will be hot and humid, I also do not want Lyme Disease.

Today we had a woman come to our class to talk about public speaking, something that has never been a problem for me. When I presented my mock action plan, I did so well, and had a lot of positive comments and only one thing to work on.

I’m incredibly confident in public speaking, which probably comes from the fact that I’m an actress at heart, and I feel most comfortable talking and being in the spotlight.

The day goes by so quickly, but so much stuff happens that it’s hard to process it all.

Time to go to bed so I can wake up early for Ropes Course!

And there's actually a pizza vending machine here. I haven't worked up the nerve to try it out.

  1. Mariana,

You seem like a reasonably bright person so why would you even consider eating a pizza sold from a vending machine? Do you have such low self-esteem that you value your own life so poorly?

I understand that they serve some ‘decent’ nutritious food at both of the dining halls. Just a thought.
