The Hercules city council speeches were terrific. All of the Hercules Ivy League students were very good with their speeches. They were clear and terrific. I know I could never say this enough but, many thanks to Don, Ms. Kronenberg, Mr. Ramsey, Ms. Ishmael, Mr. Zak and the Hercules City Council for pushing for programs like this. I really like what the mayor said about our city being behind us all the way and even starting at elementary schools to get prepared for the Ivy League Connection.
Once again, the speeches were great and I thought all of us had addressed everything that could have been possibly said during the time. I know that we are very lucky to have an entire city behind us and I hope it will always be like that for us and all the following Ivy League Students in the future.
I was sorry that I missed the speeches. However, I was happy that I was able to say a few words on behalf of the group. We are all very excited and hoping that each of you will have a great experience at Brown.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking in front of a distinguished group of adults had to be intimidating but all of you handled it with great flair. I loved the photo and you looked good in the center of the picture.
Only six weeks before you head off to Providence.
